Overview

Feastly, an angel-funded start-up, is working to rebuild social capital one home-cooked meal at a time. The online marketplace lets cooks offer food-based experiences in their homes to groups of wanting Feasters. From a traditional Korean barbecue to a TED-themed dinner salon, Feastly creates an instant, table-wide community with three simple ingredients: a comfortable home setting, good food, and real people. Feastly’s mission is to make the dining room table the optimal social network.

Role

As Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer, Danny Harris has built Feastly from an idea at Start-Up Weekend Washington DC 2012 into a thriving and funded web platform that hosts hundreds of meals for tens of thousands of Feasters around the world. Feastly has received media coverage in, among others, Fast Company, Forbes, NPR, TechCrunch, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and Wired.
